Why I built this
I have spent my career building software for people whose work gets checked: audit and accounting teams at Workiva, at AuditBoard, and now at Tellen. Those teams live in meetings, and I kept watching the same hour repeat itself: a genuinely good discussion, a tidy summary in the inbox afterwards, and nothing actually moving.
The recap was never the problem. The gap was between deciding something and that decision being written down, owned, and scheduled. So I built the room I wanted to be in, with an AI teammate sitting in the meeting: making the document while we talk, putting a name on every decision, and booking the next step before anyone says goodbye.
What that means for you
- One person is accountable. Security reports, billing problems, and feature requests reach me directly, not a queue.
- Security has been part of the build from day one. We operate to SOC 2 controls today and are selecting an auditor for the formal Type II. The security overview spells out exactly what is in place.
- Your meetings are not training data. Audio is discarded after transcription; the transcript and artifacts stay in your workspace until you delete them.
